一、教案背景

3,学生课前准备:

(1)借助录音磁带朗读词汇表的词汇并理解中文意思。

(2)预习课文,将文中不明白的地方划出来。

4,教师课前准备:

(1)查询百度网站有关颜色的歌曲视频。

(2)查询百度网站收集的有关颜色的物体图片及有关文章。

(3)录音机及磁带。

二、教学目标

三、教材分析

本节课是牛津英语9A第二单元的Reading部分。以Colour为话题,学习不同种类的颜色,及其对人情绪的影响,了解颜色所代表的含义;认识并理解有关情感的词汇;把颜色和性格搭配起来。进一步学习描述颜色的作用;指导学生根据色彩和情绪的关系,描述图片中的人物,了解色彩和情绪的关系。联系学生的现实生活,同时向学生周围的世界逐步扩展,既引起学生学习英语的兴趣,又引导学生探索身边的世界。

教学重难点:

To recognize and understand vocabulary about emotions

To match colours to characteristics

四、教学方法

  上课之前,我利用百度搜索有关颜色的歌曲来热身,然后通过听说法带领同学朗读课文解决词汇,并回答问题,讲解文章的知识点。通过网上人物衣着的颜色让学生说出人物的心情。再搜索相关颜色的文章给同学们阅读得出每一种颜色都是非常重要的。没有颜色的世界是单调无趣的。

Step 1 Revision

1. Revise different kinds of colours.

Let the students recognize the colours of the rainbow

3. Play the games, choose the different colours according to the words and pictures.

Step 2 Presentation

There’s also some relationship between colours and moods. The different colours represent different things and they affect us in many different ways. What information have you ever known? Ask the students to say as much as information as possible.

Answer the following questions.

1. Sandy worries a lot and often gets stressed. What colour should she use?

2. Daniel can help people calm down when they are angry. Do you know which the best colour is for him?

3. Kate is always in the library and she often gets good marks in tests. What colour can represent her?

4. Tom has a strong personality and likes to be the leader. What colour should he use?

Match the colours on the left with what they represent on the right.

Calm colours

calm, feel relaxed, calm, peaceful, sad, be good for the mind and body, create the  feeling of harmony, purity, feel calm, peaceful, the colour of purity

Warm colours:

wisdom, remind you of a warm, sunny day, the colour of wisdom, feel warm, happy

Energetic colours:

growth, feel energetic, give energy, new life and growth, the colour of nature, the colour of money and envy

Strong colours

power, the colour of heat and strong feeling, help you take action and make a decision

Blue —— Sadness  calm

Step 4 Listen and read

Read the passage after the tape, trying to guess the meaning of the new words according to the context. Then finish the exercise, tell “ T or F”

3. Blue can also represent sadness and purity.

4. Orange is one of the warm colours. It represents joy.
